Spindleruv Mlyn

This is the pearl of Krkonosi, the most famous ski resort of the Czech Republic, where the highest mountain in Czech Republic is situated - Snezka (1602 m). The resort consists of several areas, the most famous being St. Peter and Medvedin. The total length of slopes in Spindleruv Mlyn makes 25 kilometers; they are divided into runs of light, medium and high difficulty. You can rest here not only in winter, but in summer, too - mountain bikes, tennis, paragliding. Throughout Spindleruv Mlyn there are 5 cableways and 11 ski lifts, for which a general ski pass can be bought.

The St. Peter area is the most important sports center in Spindleruv Mlyn. Every year there are a lot of big sporting events. In winter, there are three cableways and five lifts here. Ski trails of this area are of the highest quality in the country. Also popular is the show-park with a U-ramp. Visitors can use the services of many restaurants, ski schools; at evenings outdoor swimming pools are open, as well as bowling, bobsleigh and Hromovka ski trail. There is a bus service operating between St. Peter and Medvedin.

Medvedin area is becoming increasingly popular among skiers, who like comfortable ride on the sunny slopes. However, there are also very high quality trails of higher difficulty. The cableway will bring you from the area to Horni Misecky.

For beginners and families with children the Horni Misecky area is most suitable, which operates four ski lifts. Here you will always find quality prepared slopes and the show-park with its own lift, designed for snowboarders. Horni Misecky is the starting point for mountain tours; cross-country skiing enthusiasts often come here because of the beautiful trails.
